Tyler Hamilton presents ways to hit drug testing

Tyler Hamilton and Daniel Coyle have written a book on usage of EPO and anabolic steroids. Recommendations described in the book can serve as a proof that Lance Armstrong applied banned products. The book has the following title: “The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the Tour de France: Doping, Cover-ups, and Winning at all Costs”. The book contains instructions related to usage of EPO and steroids in cycling and ways to avoid detection. It shows that drug testing is not efficacious in this sport.
Tyler Hamilton affirms that sportspeople can use steroids without being detected. He notices that the WADA doesn’t have any possibility to win. Tyler Hamilton indicates weakness of the WADA in testing sportspersons for banned preparations.
According to Hamilton, it is not difficult to avoid detection while using EPO. It is needed to utilize the procedure “microdosing”. What does it actually mean? Sportspeople should not inject 2,000 Units of EPO under the skin every 3rd or 4th day. They should introduce 400-500 Units of EPO every 3rd or 4th night intravenously. This method is named “microdosing”. Using this way of administration, athletes can avoid detection without any great effort.
Since microdosing is a proper way to avoid detection while applying EPO, this way must be appropriate in case of steroid use too. Thus, Tyler Hamilton supposes that cyclists and other sportspersons can avoid detection while using anabolic steroids. He provides recommendations related to this issue in details in the book.  The author describes how it is possible to hit drug testing of anti-doping agencies.
Actually, it is unlikely that guidelines provided in Tyler’s book will alter nature of cycling. While elaboration of the biological passport by anti-doping agencies can’t stop doping, introduction of microdosing into intake of EPO is not the new beginning of doping in cycling. Guidelines of Hamilton may modify just the essence of doping in this sport. Application of doping products is a part of cycling. Let notice the truth. Like Santa Claus doesn’t exist at the high level.
