Mark McGwire acknowledged that he made immense mistake, using steroids

Mark McGwire, an American professional baseball player and coach, escapes from his past associated with intake of steroids successfully. He gets his popularity again. This person is actively involved in professional baseball again.
However Mark McGwire realizes that he doesn’t have any chance to be introduced into the Hall of Fame, he doesn’t become disappointed. He still likes baseball.
St. Louis Cardinals were coached by Mark McGwire two seasons. Then this person intended to discontinue coaching this team because he needs to spend more time with his family. Fortunately, the American baseball coach will not leave professional baseball in order to have more time for his family. The Los Angeles Dodgers asked him to coach them. He agreed. Coaching this team will not disturb this man to spend sufficient time with his wife and children because he it takes for him only an hour in order to drive from his home to the Dodgers Stadium.
This sportsman and baseball coach spoiled his reputation because he had taken anabolic steroids. After Mark McGwire was found guilty of doping he didn’t desire to say anything about these medicines. However reporters asked him about administration of steroids by him and other baseball players, Mark McGwire refused to answer these questions. He claimed that affirmations about administration of steroids by other sportspersons could jeopardize his family and friends.
Ultimately Mark McGwire admitted to taking forbidden products. He noticed that he made an immense mistake, applying these drugs. The American baseball player and coach acknowledged that he didn’t act properly. Mark McGwire apologized for violation of anti-doping laws. Then the American sportsman and coach was allowed to return to professional baseball. Thus, he began to restore his reputation which was destroyed because of the mistake connected with administration of banned preparations.

Steroid dealers are often caught while selling steroids to undercover agents

Sports nutrition stores offer for sale not just true nutrition supplements. They label steroidal compounds as dietary supplements and sell them. But authorities put efforts to control and avoid distribution of steroids as if they were just supplements. That’s why clerks of sports nutrition stores offer steroids for sale illegally. Those who come to such stores are often informed that they may purchase steroids as well.
But these conditions are known not only by steroid users but also by police. So, police officers conduct undercover investigations in order to bust sports nutrition stores that sell steroids. Clerks should know that if a customer intends to get steroids, arranging a deal outside the shop, he must be an undercover agent. That’s why those who are implicated in illegal operations linked with sale of steroids should be very careful to avoid legal problems. Although they know about these factors, they make common mistakes which result in arrests, charges and prison.
Let present a story about a clerk of the General Nutrition Centers (GNC) store located in East Walpole (Massachusetts). George Touma sold steroids along with nutrition supplements. When law enforcement officers were informed about illegal actions of this person, they started an investigation. The investigation lasted about a month and was led by The Walpole Police Department.
An undercover agent came to the store often and purchased nutrition supplements. He was speaking with the clerk quite often. Thus, a friendly relation was established. Finally they discussed about steroids. The undercover police officer said that he would like to get steroids. So, he agreed to obtain two vials of steroids from George Touma. The officer had to give $300 for the drugs. The deal was arranged outside the store. After the purchase had taken place police officers detained George Touma.
As a result, George Touma was accused of illegal possession and distribution of anabolic steroids.

More drug testing should be conducted in tennis

Essential changes occurred in some types of sports after the USADA published its dossier on the celebrated cyclist Lance Armstrong. The legendary American cyclist was using steroids and other related drugs throughout the entire cycling career but he never tested positive for any forbidden drug. He used some effective methods to avoid detection. Nevertheless, finally he turned out to be guilty of doping.
Lance Armstrong’s doping case has shown that anti-doping policies failed. So, they should be altered. Otherwise, competitions will never be fair. We’ll never distinguish real sports heroes.
These factors influenced not only on cycling but also on other sports. Some sports organizations affirmed that anti-doping policies should be modified in order to catch those that administer steroids and/or other related medicines.
Not only anti-doping agencies but also athletes claim that anti-doping policies should be changed. Certain sportspeople want to be sure that their sport is clean. For example, several tennis players claim that more drug testing should take place in tennis. It is important to mention that such tennis stars, as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Andy Murray, think that anti-doping policy is not quite appropriate in tennis. They affirm that more drug testing is required in order to be sure that tennis is free of doping.
Novak Djokovic stated that he would submit to more drug testing in order to promote cleaning tennis of dopers.
The World №2 tennis player Roger Federer also confirmed that more tests for forbidden substances should take place in tennis. He mentioned that earlier he was subjected to more tests. Then the number of tests became more reduced in tennis.
When it comes to the World №3 tennis player Andy Muray, he affirmed that more out-of-competition testing should be conducted. While tennis players are always tested during competitions, they are not tested often while being not in competitions.

Wrong conception resulted from dossier on Lance Armstrong

The USADA has released a report on the well-known cyclist Lance Armstrong.
Which impression do readers get, when they read this dossier? It is confirmed that a lot of persons consider that every teammate of this legendary cyclist has administered steroids and/or other banned substances. But is it true opinion? Has every Lance Armstrong’s teammate doped?
According to the dossier on this cyclist, 11 teammates testified against him, claiming that he administered doping products. Furthermore, it was said that Lance Armstrong and the most mates of his team used sophisticated ways in order to be able to dope and remain undetectable.
However several Lance Armstrong’s teammates admitted to using steroids and/or other doping products, some teammates denied doping. For example, Julian Dean and Patrick Jonker were two teammates of the famous cyclist that denied taking performance-enhancing drugs.
Julian Dean claimed that he neither doped, nor saw Lance Armstrong administering steroids and/or other related medicines.
When it comes to Patrick Jonker, his affirmations were like those of Julian Dean. He said that he had never taken any prohibited substances. He said that he competed cleanly and didn’t take any unfair advantage.
According to Patrick Jonker, usage of steroids and other related medicines is a serious problem in cycling. He thinks that numerous cyclists dope. He considers that it is important to fight against usage of steroids and other related substances in cycling. But he states that suitable methods should be utilized by anti-doping officers. This athlete is full of anger, saying about prosecution against Lance Armstrong.  Patrick Jonker affirms that killers are less prosecuted than the legendary cyclist.

Tennis players can’t increase performance with steroids

The British tennis player Andy Murray states that tennis is not tainted by application of steroids and other related products. He believes that application of performance-enhancing drugs doesn’t represent any problem in this sport. He claims that tennis is relatively clean. If you compare this sport to others, you can be convinced that it is free from doping, according to Andy Murray. But the tennis player understands that this sport is not completely clean. This person admits that certain tennis players take forbidden drugs too.
If you take cycling as an example, you may notice that it is linked to allegations regarding doping by the prominent cyclist Lance Armstrong. Cycling commentators and journalists try to display that doping reigns in other sports too. So, they try to direct attentions of people from cycling to others sports. They note that administration of steroids and other related medicines is a problem not just in cycling. Tennis turned out to be pointed out by them quite frequently.
Andy Murray made the decision to respond to such criticism. He says that steroids and other related medications don’t play any significant role in tennis. This athlete mentions about differences between tennis and cycling.
According to the tennis player, while steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs benefit in cycling evidentially, these remedies can’t cause any significant changes in tennis players. This person considers that while power that is required in cycling can be increased by doping, the skills which are required in tennis can’t be perfected by steroids and other related medications.
In fact, similar arguments are utilized in other sports too. Baseball and basketball players also affirm that steroids don’t represent any obvious problem in their sports because these medicines don’t have ability to enhance performance in their sports.
But it is impossible to doubt about effectiveness of steroids on performance of any athlete. Since these medicines are capable to increase strength, speed and endurance, they play great role in tennis and other sports.

Alexander Lukashenko: it is needed to fight against doping

Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian president, is also the president of the National Olympic Committee. He was very upset after the Belarusian female shot-putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk tested positive for a prohibited medication. The president was too upset. Alexander Lukashenko turned out to be a serious fan of sports. He was ashamed that representatives of his country destroyed Belarusian’s sports reputation by positives for banned medicines. As a result, he affirmed that several changes would take place.
The president of Belarus noted that it was needed to criminalize application of prohibited substances in sports. So, sports will be probably clean. This statement was pronounced by the Belarusian president after Nadzeya Ostapchuk was caught using methenolone. This medicine is also known as Primobolan.
The president of Belarusia wants to see that his country succeeds in sports on the international scene. If Alexander Lukashenko desires to clean his country’s sports, he will be able to do it. Several facts show that this person has reached numerous goals related to his country.
Actually, Lukashenko is a strict president. He was even accused of rights’ violation. He is able to change the situation in sports by force too.
Alexander Lukashenko doesn’t plan to discuss about application of prohibited products in sports. There are other aspects that should be discussed, according to the Belarusian president.
Anatoliy Tozik, the Vice-President for Alexander Lukashenko, supposed that they could establish a sports scientific center which would be sponsored by the state. The center would conduct scientific researches related to mental and pharmacological support for elite athletes. Alexander Lukashenko agreed to form this center.
It is not yet clear whether Alexander Lukashenko will clean sports at any cost. Will he utilize his force for this purpose?

Steroids are not widely used by tennis players

David Howman expresses his thoughts about anti-doping systems in certain sports organizations. While the director general of the WADA seems to be happy with jobs of certain sports organizations, he says that anti-doping programs in other leagues/teams are not suitable.
For example, the director general of the WADA praises the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for its anti-doping policy. David Howman says that anti-doping system is proper in tennis.
But when it comes to the National Basketball Association (NBA), it doesn’t want to adopt its anti-doping program to that of the WADA. It doesn’t agree to add several new drug tests in order to catch those that use steroids and/or other banned substances. That’s why David Howman confirms that the anti-doping policy of the NBA is not good enough to catch those who dope. He notes that the NBA should add more complicated new methods as well.
David Howman claims that drug tests conducted in tennis are of high quality. But there is a defect in tennis’ anti-doping system. A lot of tests take place during competitions. But few tests take place out-of-competition. That’s why ITF’s anti-doping system is also criticized.
Undoubtedly, nobody can confirm that anti-doping system of ITF is perfect. It has certain lacks too. But it is quite adequate.
So, you should not think that tennis is clean from doping totally. Certain tennis players probably use steroids and/or related medications. But it is not so tainted, as some other sports.
Just one tennis player was suspended for administration of banned medications. However it seems to prove that tennis is clean, it is important to take in consideration that there are some methods to avoid positives. As you probably know, the celebrated cyclist Lance Armstrong administered steroids and other related medications and avoided detection much time. Couldn’t tennis players act the same way?
